Where’s Wanda? Season 2 is currently streaming on Apple TV. For a change, the Klatt family actually knows where Wanda is this season!
The circumstances around Where’s Wanda? Season 2 may be even more dire and desperate than the first time around! Wanda Klatt is believed to have committed murd*r and is doing time for the same. It’s up to her family to clear her name.
The entire Klatt family spoke to Sportskeeda at length about Where’s Wanda? Season 2! Lea Drinda, who plays Wanda Klatt, spoke about the difference between Season 1 and 2:
“There is more comedy in it, more drama this second season. It had a different look to it, the scenes were different. The stories were different. It was quite a change. The characters I think in the first season…Wanda was more of a teenager. No rules. Didn’t care what others think. That sort of thing.”
In the Apple TV original, the circumstances of Where’s Wanda? Season 2 happen a fair bit after the events of Season 1. Drinda highlighted the differences in her own character’s arc in the two seasons:
“And certainly in the second season, she’s more of an adult. And she has her own goals which are set. And she has needs. She wants to find out about the truth. She wants to prove that first of all, she is innocent, that she didn’t do anything. And that Katarina Vinson is what she is. A criminal.”
This time around, the degree of seriousness goes up a notch as well. The season is certainly a lot more physical, in terms of stunts. Drinda added:
“I noticed it physically speaking after the shooting.”
But here is the good news for the Klatt family. Lea Drinda summed it up:
“And the other thing is that the family can work as a team now because Wanda is not away. You can see that they are talking to each other. They speak over the phone. It’s more teamwork than it was before.”
Where’s Wanda? Season 2 shatters all peace in The Klatt family once again
If the Klatts thought they could be normal once again with Wanda’s return, they were greatly mistaken. Where’s Wanda? Season 2 is even more chaotic than the first season. Heike Makatsch, who plays Carlotta Klatt, said:
“I was also impressed by how the authors and the writers and the showrunners actually came up with new ideas. After such a rich Season 1, that’s brimming with ideas you have to really start from scratch and you have to create a situation that’s logical in itself and you have to follow up on the first season as well. I think they did a great job.”
Axel Stein, AKA Dedo Klatt, praised the direction of Where’s Wanda? Season 2:
“Well, I am super happy and I’m absolutely proud of the second season and I could watch it very early on and I’m more than satisfied about how the whole city of Sundersheim developed, how our characters developed. It’s interesting and a bit darker.”
