A recent WWE debutant is likely to wrestle and have a match in the company. This would send shockwaves around the world and garner a lot of attention from fans of all sports.
The name in question is none other than Michael Chandler. Chandler, who is a well known and successful UFC fighter recently made his debut on NXT. He was the special guest referee on the November 4th edition of NXT when Cruz Montana took on Dion Lennox in an unsanctioned match.
Thanks for the submission!
The match had a lot of ups and downs and even saw 946 make an appearance to take out DarkState and also help Cruz Montana win the match. We now have an update on Michael Chandler, courtesy of False Finish.
They are reporting that sources within the company have informed them that discussions for Michael Chandler to have a match in WWE have been had. In case this happens, this will be a big one but not the first time someone from UFC have made an appearance in the company as previous names include Ronda Rousey and Cain Velasquez.
Michael Chandler knows how to cut a promo in WWE
Given that Michael Chandler is one of the most charismatic stars in the UFC, he is great on the mic. Before his debut on WWE NXT, he cut a promo from his gym and admitted how he was ready to oversee the match between Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox.
“Robert Stone… I see you booked Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox in an Unsanctioned Match next Wednesday night. Seems you want this thing to end, but you don’t want to take responsibility for it because you know exactly what these two are capable of, and exactly what these two want to do to each other after the last time they squared off. So, if you need somebody to keep a little order inside of the chaos, you need somebody who is well-versed in the language of chaos. And if you need somebody… you just let me know, ’cause I know a guy,” Chandler said.
Given how effortlessly he pulled off the promo, a transition into WWE will be easy and not hard.
