The Hollow is a platform-wide Roblox event celebrating the Halloween season. Each day, a new floor unlocks in the event hub, containing a maze that has a prowling monster from one of the nine main participating experiences. On October 26, the fifth floor unlocked for all players, allowing them to navigate the maze and access secret rooms while avoiding the Hiachi monster from The Mimic game.
On Floor 5, you must navigate the maze, find and solve the mirror puzzle in a secret room, obtain a Relic, and escape with the item. Completing this objective will give you an exclusive badge and a permanent item to equip on your avatar.
A guide for completing the Floor 5 maze in The Hollow
You can access Floor 5 in The Hollow event hub regardless of whether you completed the puzzles in the previous floors. Once your character has spawned in the event hub, head inside the cinema hall and run straight to the elevator. Press “5” on the button panel to reach the fifth floor.
On the fifth floor, follow these instructions to claim the event-exclusive badge and accessory:
Find the puzzle room
The location of the puzzle room changes whenever you use the elevator. Since it has no fixed location, you have to rely on your mind to navigate the hallways and find the puzzle room. Note that rooms whose entry points have blue static effects are safe zones.
While trying to find the puzzle room, avoid being spotted by the monster Hiachi. Use headphones for audio cues about the monster’s location and sneak away from its sight. If Hiachi spots your avatar, quickly run to a safe zone or wait for it to pursue some other player in the maze.
Solve the mirror puzzle
Inside the puzzle room, you’ll find many mirrors. Interact with each mirror and rotate it so that it reflects the beam to the nearest one. Keep bouncing the light from mirror to mirror until each has a beam passing through it, regardless of its position in the room.
The objective is to reflect the beam by using all the mirrors until it reaches the Skull at the center. Notably, the mirror with a green ornament is the one that bounces the beam a final time towards the Skull.
Acquire the Relic and escape
Solving the mirror puzzle will reward you with a Relic. After obtaining this item, exit the puzzle room and run back to the elevator. Avoid being caught by the monster prowling the fifth floor at all costs because if it does, your avatar will respawn in the event hub without the Relic.
Once you reach the elevator with the Relic, you will receive a badge and accessory for your efforts.
Rewards for completing the Floor 5 maze in The Hollow
Escaping the Floor 5 maze with the Relic rewards players with the:
- Spore-Worn Traffic Cone accessory: This user-generated content (UGC) can be equipped from the Customize menu. It is a head accessory that looks like a purple traffic cone with mushroom spores on top of it.
- “Spore-Worn Traffic Cone” badge: This event-exclusive badge is rewarded alongside the Spore-Worn Traffic Cone accessory.
