A star who hasn’t appeared on WWE programming for nearly 6 months is apparently still under contract with the Stamford-based company as per a recent report. The star in question is none other than the former TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace.
Jordynne Grace made history when she entered the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match as the reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion, becoming the second woman to do so after Mickie James. After seeing her success in TNA Wrestling, the Stamford-based company decided to sign her last year and she was assigned to the NXT brand. Grace made her official debut as a WWE star in last year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Jordynne Grace was called up to the main roster earlier this year. Unfortunately, she suffered an ankle injury at the start of the year and was out of action for a few months. Jordynne Grace’s last televised WWE match took place at the April 17 edition of SmackDown where she lost to Tiffany Stratton in a Women’s US title #1 Contendership match.
Since then, she has only wrestled in dark matches or on Main Event. Jordynne had removed any mention of WWE from her social media bios which caught the fans’ attention, amplifying speculation about her departure. However, Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that she is still with the Entertainment Juggernaut by replying to a fan’s post. He revealed that her social media accounts were always like this and she hasn’t updated anything for the last few months.
Fans are curious to see when Jordynne Grace will make her return on television.
Jordynne Grace wants to be managed by Paul Heyman in WWE
Paul Heyman is arguably one of the most legendary managers in the professional wrestling sphere. He has managed several young stars who went on to become World Champions. In an interview with Aussie Heat PW podcast, Grace showcased interest in being managed by Paul Heyman.
“Oh, I’m actively pushing for it. Like, that’s my dream—to be a Paul Heyman girl, the first ever. So, actively pushing for it. I’m messaging all the writers about it. All I need is someone like him, and I’ll shoot straight to the top,” she said.
It would be interesting to see Paul Heyman manage a young female star like Jordynne Grace.
