The footage, released by TMZ on Saturday, shows Jacobs exiting a vehicle in which he was a passenger before officers instructed him to turn around. Police then place him in handcuffs and pat him down beside their squad car.

The arrest followed a May 23 incident involving Jacobs and his then-girlfriend. She accused the running back of grabbing her and throwing her to the ground, causing a head injury. She also alleged that the confrontation began after she discovered communications with other women on his phone. Jacobs denied the allegations at the time.
Police initially investigated the incident before prosecutors formally charged him with misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property in August. The NFL subsequently placed him on the Commissioner’s Exempt List.
On September 10, Jacobs pleaded no contest to both misdemeanor charges in Brown County court. He received a $1,000 fine plus court costs for the battery charge. The criminal damage charge was deferred for 12 months, subject to conditions including counseling, restitution, supervision, and no contact with the accuser.
NFL investigation into Josh Jacobs intensifies as league seeks arrest video
The NFL’s investigation into Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs remains ongoing. The league is still seeking video evidence from his offseason arrest.
According to NFL insider Jonathan Jones of The Athletic, the league has not concluded its investigation and is continuing efforts to obtain footage from the incident.
“The NFL’s investigation into Josh Jacobs has not ended, and the league is still seeking video from the previous incident,” Jones wrote on X.
Three more women reportedly made physical abuse allegations against Jacobs.
Although Jacobs returned in Week 7 after spending the first six games on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, further disciplinary action remains possible. The NFL could issue a suspension or place him back on the exempt list.
Meanwhile, Green Bay faces uncertainty ahead of its Week 9 matchup against the New England Patriots, with Jacobs’ availability potentially becoming another concern for the Packers.
