Recently, a top AEW alliance has come to an end after its members ousted one of their long-time allies. This shocking betrayal has finally been addressed, and both sides have fired shots.
Almost two weeks ago, The Dogs turned on Gabe Kidd and aligned with the Bang Bang Gang. This new supergroup, now known as The Cut, has been running roughshod and bringing the fight to the Death Riders. The roles have switched as Jay White and his new and improved group are now the heels in this story.
Recently, Gabe Kidd got to address the betrayal, and there was no love lost between him and his former allies. He sent a warning to David Finlay and Clark Connors as he was looking to remind them how dangerous he was. Clark has responded to his statement on social media.
He mentioned how he was by Kidd’s side during his highs and lows, but now they had grown tired of always carrying his weight.
“Been With You Through The Thick. Been There Through The Thin. Sick Of Carrying Your A**. Have Fun With Your New Crew #TheCut“
The Death Riders are at an disadvantage heading into AEW Full Gear
The Cut have had a more practical approach to this feud as they have been strategically choosing their moments and going at the Death Riders with their numbers. Last week on AEW Dynamite, another brawl began between both sides. Claudio Castagnoli was the difference maker, as he was the one force that required multiple people going at him just to take him down.
They made the most of the moment and launched a brutal attack on Castagnoli, making sure he’d be feeling this for days to come. This ended with Jay White hitting him with a Blade Runner on the cement floor.
Heading into the Anarchy at the Arena match at AEW Full Gear, the Death Riders are at a numbers disadvantage. They could end up looking for help to even out the playing field.
