As the star quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys since 2016, Dak Prescott has been one of the Philadelphia Eagles’ biggest targets of enmity throughout his career. And on Monday, he had a way to incite them – except fans thought otherwise.
The four-time Pro Bowler was spotted wearing a mint green jacket over a white shirt, black leather pants, and white shoes as he started making his way to Lincoln Financial Field. He also had headphones on and was holding a water bottle in one hand and a bag and suitcase in the other:
Thanks for the submission!

Much mockery of his outfit ensued:

“Embarrassing,” one sneered.
“Coming to lose,” another guaranteed.
“Wearing green in enemy territory,” another mused.
“Ready to lay another egg,” one predicted.
“‘GOTI’ but can’t score more than 16 points.. get outta here,” another threatened.
“Gonna get the belt to that A**,” another salivated.
During his media availability on Friday, Prescott said about the stakes of the intradivisional matchup:
“We’ve got to go win. You’ve got to go win. You want to give yourself a chance to be a winning team, to be a playoff team. You got to win as many games as you can, and when you drop two games — in particular games that we didn’t expect to drop — it makes it that much harder. So urgent, urgent to get it done now.”
He added:
“It’s one of the few opportunities that you get that you feel like you’re truly on the road, you know you’re hated. It’s you guys and those guys on that sideline versus the world, it feels like. And that’s what football’s supposed to be – when you go on the road, and you go to someone else’s house.”
Seth Rollins raises doubts about Dak Prescott’s future as a Cowboy
Throughout his career, Dak Prescott has seen his regular-season successes offset by playoff disappointment. He has never gone past the NFC Divisional Round, and he has also been involved in a couple of embarrassing Wild Card Round defeats.
And with the Cowboys being mired in mediocrity under the much-maligned Brian Schottenheimer, WWE Superstar Seth Rollins has started to believe that the union between quarterback and franchise is in jeopardy. During a guest appearance on the NFL Network’s Good Morning Football on Monday, he said:
“When you are a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, you got an extra level. … If you can’t come on the road at this stadium and deliver tonight, then we got to start having conversations about what your future looks like in Dallas.”
Kickoff for the Cowboys-Eagles game is at 7:15 p.m. CT on ABC/ESPN.
