We have an update on a WWE veteran who has been with the company for 28 years. This update comes after reports emerged that he would be stepping away after WrestleMania 43.
The name in question is none other than Bruce Prichard. Prichard is one of the most powerful names in the company and most of the creative decisions go through him. A few days back, it was reported he would be taking a step back from his current role and retiring, specifically after WrestleMania 43.

However, we now have an update on that, courtesy of Fightful Select. The report states that contrary to earlier reports, Bruce Prichard would be working from home instead of retiring according to sources within WWE.
They also reported that the company operated without Bruce Prichard as he was absent several times over the last one year and that there are no plans of him being replaced by Shawn Michaels or anyone else at this point.

When Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker and broke his undefeated WrestleMania streak, the entire wrestling world was shocked and came to a standstill. They could not believe why that decision was made.
WWE executive Bruce Prichard was a guest on Taker’s Six Feet Under with the Undertaker podcast when he said that it was something he would not have done. Speaking to the WWE Hall of Famer, Prichard said:
“If there was a guy to do it, Brock was the guy to do it. I get that. I understand that. However, for me, I am speaking strictly selfishly here, it was something created out of my messed up head. It was like a baby, you watch it grow, it gets character, and it grows and you see it come to life and you want to keep it pure forever. So I understand the decision why, it was just not what I would have done.”
Brock Lesnar went on to have a great time after defeating the Undertaker at WrestleMania 30. Taker for his part took the loss in a great way and passed on the baton to Lesnar.
