Gunther had quite the eventful evening on this week’s WWE SmackDown. He has now taken to social media to break his silence after being taken out by “The Demon” Finn Balor.
The Halloween special episode of SmackDown saw Gunther lay waste to Danhausen and the returning “MiniHausens”. This led to the return of “The Demon”, who ambushed the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and put him through the commentary desk, courtesy of a Coup de Grâce from the top of a ladder.
Thanks for the submission!
On Instagram, Gunther broke his silence after the turn of events on SmackDown. The Ring General claimed to hate Halloweens.
“I hate Halloween,” wrote Gunther.

Raquel Rodriguez Explained How Kicking Finn Balor Out Of The Judgment Day Helped The Group
Dominik Mysterio was primarily responsible for kicking Finn Balor out of The Judgment Day. Faction member and reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Raquel Rodriguez, explained how Balor’s exile from the group helped them get back on the same page.
Speaking on San Antonio Express-News, Rodriguez said:
“I think that’s what keeps us so strong and what keeps us together is we all have that mindset that we are familia. We have that mindset that we have each other’s backs forever, no matter what. We had to kick Finn Balor out together. That was a real trauma bonding moment for all of us. I just think that we are the longest reigning faction and we are the strongest faction in WWE history because of our mindset and our love for each other and because we’re family,”
Balor’s removal from The Judgment Day led to him switching from RAW to SmackDown, where he immediately got himself involved in the Undisputed WWE Championship picture. The former WWE Universal Champion is now feuding with Gunther, and the two could potentially cross paths in a match at some point down the road.
