Sheamus Provides An Update On His Return Exactly One Month After His Official Exit From WWE

It has been exactly a month since Sheamus’ WWE contract expired. He has now provided an update on his future and discussed the possibility of his return to the squared circle.

Sheamus parted ways with the Stamford-based promotion after spending two decades with the company. He won multiple championships during his time in the company, including the WWE Championship, which he won in 2009. He became the first Irish Superstar to win the title and did so just 166 days after making his debut.

Sheamus made a public appearance at a Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund watch party. Speaking to Telemundo Deportes, Tthe Celtic Warrior said that he was on a long vacation and enjoying his time off from in-ring competition.

“Did you say ex-luchador? I’m just taking time off. I’m just chilling, I’m just relaxing. I’m on vacation. A long vacation.” said Sheamus.

Here’s what Sheamus had to say:

Mark Henry Spoke Highly Of Former WWE Superstar Sheamus

Sheamus shared the ring with top names throughout his two decades with the WWE. Former World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry spoke highly of The Celtic Warrior while speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling.

Henry claimed that the former Sheamus was an example of hard work and praised his in-ring work, calling it smooth. He also stated that The Celtic Warrior was a great example for the younger superstars.

“He’s the example of hard work and change in his body. He was–he–he was smooth, he was not muscular and he made himself who he became and I think that’s a great example for young guys,”

Sheamus’ next move in professional wrestling is yet to be revealed, apart from the details he stated in his latest media appearance. It remains to be seen which promotion decides to bring in The Celtic Warrior.

AEW could be a potential destination for him, considering the number of former WWE Superstars who have signed with Tony Khan’s company over the past few years.
